Subhash Ghai was born on 24th January 1945. He is an Indian movie chief, maker, and screenwriter, known for his works transcendently in Hindi films.

He was one of the most unmistakable and influential producers of Hindi films throughout the 80s and 90s. The actor of Bollywood, Subhash Ghai, is one of the most productive movie chiefs and makers in Hindi films.

Having begun his career as an entertainer in the movie business, he featured in films like Aradhana (1969) and Umang (1970); the entertainer-turned-chief made his first time at the helm with Kalicharan in 1976.

Aside from being a well-known and perhaps of the best chief, Subhash has created a few movies, including the Public Honor victor, Iqbal, in 2006, under his creation standard MuktaExpressions Private Restricted.

Subhash Ghai’s Early Life

  • Certificate of Commendation – United States Senate (1996)
  • Filmfare Award for Best Screenplay – Pardes (1997)
  • Jury member for the final round at the International Emmy Awards (2006)
  • Jury member for the final round at the International Emmy Awards (2007)
  • Jury member of IBDA awards, UAE (2002)
  • Winner of the IIFA Lifetime Achievement Award (2015)


Today, Mr Ghai is possibly one of the most regarded Indian producers and educationists. He has been frequently congratulated with ‘Exceptional Commitment to Indian Film’ and ‘Remarkable Commitment to Film instruction’ grants.
