World Peace and Understanding Day celebrated on September 21st. This world peace day dedicated to strengthening the peaceful environment, which UN General Assembly declared.

Female Participation in Science and Technology in India is increasing gradually every year. The number of science researchers in India doubled between 2014 and 2022. Women’s participation has recorded as the highest in biotechnology, and next comes the medicine sector.

Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI) has observed 20%, NIPER Hyderabad 22%, and the Defense Bio-Engineering and Electro-Medical Lab (DEBEL) in Bangalore has observed 33% of women participation.

Delhi University has 35% women’s participation, while Tezpur University in Assam has 19%.20% of girls in tertiary education who have acknowledged STEM studies compared to 40% of boys worldwide.

Importance of National STEM Day
