One of the important days celebrated in Rajasthan every year is Rajasthan Diwas. It is celebrated on March 30. This day is also known as Foundation day. In 1949, Rajasthan was established, and Jaipur was given as its capital city.

Rajasthan is rich in culture and tradition. Even though many Rajasthanis are migrating to other states and countries, we can see them following their culture and tradition.

    If you are a music lover and enjoy the music of all countries, this is the right time to visit Jaipur. The Jaipur Jazz and Jazz Blues Festival will be from March 11 to 13th. There will be great musicians performing on this day across the globe. You can enjoy different kinds of music like jazz, rock, ghazals, etc.

  2. Braj Holi Festival:

    If you love to sing, dance, and add colours of smiles to your life, then this is the right time to visit Bharatpur. The festival will celebrated on the 13th and 14th of March. Some so many foreigners visit for this festival. You can enjoy local folktale music and songs and play with colours for 2 days.

  3. Rajasthan Day Celebrations:

    One of the most awaited days of celebrations is Rajasthan Day Celebrations. It celebrated in Jaipur from March 27 to March 30. You can visit the tourist places on the day. Enjoy the unique dishes of Rajasthan. You can see the people’s culture and traditions with a lot of singing and dancing. You can also do a lot of shopping these days.

  4. Karni Arni Mata Fair:

    This fair will be from April 2 to 7th. Devotees visit the Karni temple during these days and pray to the Goddess. It believed that the Goddess can cure all kinds of diseases.

  5. Gangaur Festival:

    It celebrated on April 4th and 5th. This festival dedicated to Goddess Parvathi. It a local festival celebrated by Rajasthan’s girls and married women. It is also an auspicious time when parents look for life partners for their children. There will be colourful processions with the band playing horses, and it is also fascinating to see palanquins.

  6. Mewar Festival celebrated in Udaipur, Rajasthan, from April 4 to April 6. This festival also dedicated to Goddess Parvathi. We can see Rajasthan dressed in their best traditional clothes during these days. The celebrations during these days include dancing, singing, devotional music concerts, and fireworks displays. The fireworks display is impressive during the celebrations. There will be a lot of cultural events and also a procession of boats on the lake.

  15. Desert National Park is where you can see different birds and animals.
  16. Pilani- You can visit the most famous educational institute here.
  17. The Hill Fort Kesroli is from the 14th century, with rich and rare heritage hotels.

If you are a foodie, you can try many food varieties here. The state delicacies include Rabdi, Onion kachori, Laal means, Papad ki sabzi, Ker sangria, Dal Bati Churma, Ghevar, Moong Dal ka Halwa, Bajra ki roti with lasun chutney and Rajasthani thali. Rajasthan is also famous for its spices like chilies, cloves, cumin, cardamom, and cumin, and in Rajasthani food, you can taste all these tasty and healthy spices.
