NATIONAL FREEDOM DAY is observed on February 1 in the United States. President Abraham Lincoln strived hard to abolish slavery. In this honor he signed a joint house and senate solution.

National freedom day 2023 in the United States celebrates its freedom from slavery. This day reminds people that everyone, regardless of skin color, is free and the same.

This resolution became the 13th Amendment to the U.S constitution. An American civil rights advocate, politician, and former slave Major Richard Robert Wright, believed and fought for the freedom of all Americans.

Later 13th Amendment chosen as National Freedom Day. In 1942, at Independence Hall, the first time celebrated. Now, annually a wreath laid at the Liberty Bell as a symbol of remembrance. This brings us to the observation that on February 1, it celebrated.
