International Day of the Unborn Child 2023 : The most beautiful awaited moment in any family is waiting for a newborn child. A newborn and healthy baby is a miracle in a couple’s life. We see many celebrations around the moment the doctor announces the pregnancy news to a couple. After the baby is also born, there will be a lot of celebrations. This day dedicated to all the unborn children and people coming forward to commit to saving the lives of the unborn. It also safeguards the rights of the mother who wants to protect her unborn from family pressures and pressures her for abortion without her willingness.

International Day of the Unborn Child-History

El Salvador is the first country to recognize and dedicate this day to the freedom of the conceived. It declared an official national holiday in the year 1993.   7. The family undergoes trauma, and the mother undergoes physical and mental trauma.

Activities to conduct on International Day of Unborn Child

  1. Special counseling should given to the family and the expected parents about not killing the unborn.
  2. Abortion should considered only in rare cases where no other option left.
  3. Couples should take precautions to be more prepared to become parents.
  4. Government should develop more schemes to help the family who are finally not in a position to bring up a newborn.
  5. Guest lectures, conferences, and workshops should conducted to educate people about not killing the fetus in the mother’s womb.
  6. TVs and Radios can also take the initiative and conduct special programs on the day to bring sensitive feelings among people.
  7. Posters can made, and a rally can conducted on the day.
  8. A helpline number should be provided that an expecting mother can reach whenever she needs assistance.
  9. Adoption should encouraged; if the parents are not in a position to take care of the newborn, it can get new parents.
  10. NGOs and educated people should come forward to educate people in the slums. And other places of importance for unborn children and girls in every family.
